I picked up a bag of Remington 9mm 124gr FMJ RN bullets and have been unable to find any load data on it. I have looked through
Lyman, Hornady and Speer books but nothing. I have looked on line but notheing on the 124's.Remingtons site does not offer anything either. Anyone have an info?

    Thanks

    Re: Remington bullets

The site does not list Remington as a bullet manufacture.I have found load data for 124 gr bullets from other companies but not for remington. My books show different starting and max gr's for different manufactures.

    Thanks

    Re: Remington bullets

I have used data for other bullets in the past just keeping with in the same weight, or close to it, and have not had any pressure issues. Load data for lead vs jacketed can be another story... also watch for bullet diameter as well, Hornady 44 cal bullets are .430 where other manufactures may be .429, in 9mm most I believe are .355 but you may run into .356 from time to time.

Yeah. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge and that can be corrected.

    Re: Remington bullets

I am really sorry for I posted the wrong info so please do not try my load.I was thinking about a 115gn bullet not a 124gn bullet.

My load for a 115gn FMJ is 4.6gn of HP38 or W231.I will add that you can load 4.0-4.2gn of either powder at COAL of 1.100You can even use the 4.6gn of either powder but your COAL will be more like 1.130 when useing a 124gn FMJ.
