7.5" Barrel MB Spacer

Fellas,

I've got a 7.5" Diplomat that needs about .5-1" worth of clearance for a Surefire MB. I remember a thread a while back that discussed this topic, but I'm having trouble locating it.

Does anyone have an idea manufactures a spacer?

Yes, I know, 7.5" isn't ideal for a can; if the can aids as extra hearing protection, I can justify it.

Im not sure about the spacer you need, but I run a AAC Cyclone on my 7.5" AR and love it! Are you talking about a spacer or a thread adapter?

The Noveske Diplomat with 7.5" barrel is recessed a little ways into the rail. This allows the KX3 to fit 'flush' instead of it sticking out a ways.

I'm looking for an 'extension' that will give me a little extra length so that the suppressor will clear the rail. I'm thinking about calling a smith and having them machine me a small piece of a left over barrel. If I go this route, it might have to be reamed into a smooth boar for this tiny piece to work.

Not sure which gunsmith I should call for such a minute job.

Oh ok I got ya! My barrel is also recessed about 3/4 of an inch inside the end of the rail. But the cyclone fits inside the rail just fine. Your idea should work ok as long as the smith machins it right. Should be a easy fix. Good luck
