Hunting & Fishing Anyone else hunt Axis?

It's about all we have here. I hear there are some in Texas and Florida? By far the tastiest wild game meat I've had. I even prefer it to beef most times. Anyway... I hear the racks are a lot nicer on the CONUS. Anyone?

Mr. Booshay, I want to be your neighbor. I have gotten to hunt them a few times in the Hill Country and the meat is fantastic.

We do a little axis hunting in the hill country.

I hit this one so hard his horns fell off when he hit the ground...

It is indeed the best tasting meat in my opinion.
