Gunsmithing C.D. 7mm/300WM Medium Hunter

Never got around to a full build thread on this bugger. Some of the work was shown in smaller threads I'd started last week.

Anyways, here she is all done. It's a Bighorn action with a Jewel and a nice hunter weight barrel. The brake is from Jarod's shop (nice piece, props on the machine work!) and the rest is my grubby hands.

Sweet setup. 7mm/300 WM seems like a much better deal than 7 mm Rem Mag. Let us hear how it shoots!

What was the final weight on this Chad? Just curious. Need a new hunting rifle. Would like to keep it around 8-9#.

Yes I will do a range report on it if Chad will ever ship it off. Since you posted these on Friday and we talked on Wednesday. I am assuming you still have not shipped it like you promised you would last week. Unbelievable.

You have me dead to rights. Been behind and I'm sorry. I lost your bolt stop. I think it fell into the hopper of the blast cabinet, regardlesss its missing.

Had AJ ship me a new one which he did and I have it. Guns done, on my way to pick up a case to ship.

Sorry for the delay. Came out nice though.

Yes it looks amazing. That is why I am so excited to get it. I total understand that thing happen. Just a heads up would have been great.

Yes I have been in contact with Chad. That between me and him. Chad and his boy worked some late nights to try and make a deadline for me. He has already gone the extra mile for me. It was just the last foot that we had a little stumble.
