If the projo went out the muzzle and the bolt was locked and nothing exited elsewhere not much. I am assuming you have opened the bolt and the case is stuck. Use a rod and tap it back out from the muzzle end.TAP not drive. Should come out. Inspect chamber and brass for explanation of why.

The bolt is stuck and the case is still in the gun, and I'm shooting 65.5 grains of 7828ssc

I'm trying to figure out if it's something I can do to get the bolt open or if I should take it to the gun smith , and how much it will cost if a gunsmith deals with it, I never had a gun worked on before

Before you panic, try this...take the rifle and secure it in an upright position. Run an ounce of half and half,
ATF and acetone down the bore. Drop a cleaning rod down the bore and let it rest on the inside of the case. Do a raise and drop, "tap, tap, tap, tap, tap tap...sort of movement while you try, gently, to lift the bolt. Eventually, it will remove itself. Then, clean the chamber, bolt face and bore, and the insides of the bolt. Then...start your loads somewhat lower. JMHO

Are you 100% certain it was IMR7828?
I presume this rifle was shot and functioned correctly prior to this. 65.5grs of IMR7828 in a 300WSM shouldn't lock anything up. Was this brass FL resized?

Yes, I've shot this load for 5 years now, the only thing I can think is the brass wore out, I have not reloaded it more then 4-5 times

Do you have the tools to take the barrel off? Since you are shooting a wildcat you may have installed the barrel since it is a Savage.
Take the barrel off if you have the tools and deal with stuck case in the barrel. The worse thing I can see with taking the barrel off is you may have to replace the extractor if it has not been dinged up bad from the case failure.

A wooden dowel (hardwood) down the barrel with a few taps will usually get the case out. I have done this with a cleaning rod as well but if its really stuck you could bugger up the threaded end of the rod, just use light taps with a rubber mallet.

My problem is the bolt is lodged so I can't even move it, we have tried a mallet and it won't budge!!!

I do not have the tools to take the barrel off, I think my only option is to take to a gunsmith and pay him for his talents.

Oh, bolt is locked...I missed that. Maybe some penatrating oil down the barrel and let it sit verical for spell. You may want to try to take a heat gun to the action to warm it up as well, maybe compressed air down the barrel to contract the case with the action warm to expand it.

Does the bolt move at all? I ask just to see if the bolt is stuck on the lugs or if it is stuck from the extractor catching the rim.

My reasoning is that if it is stuck on the lugs you may be able to take a brass drift and tap on the back of the bolt to more it a little forward so it will "cam". If it is stuck on the extractor you can do as above but during the taping of the rod down the bore have someone put pressure on opening the action as the case comes out of the chamber.
Oh you can NEVER use to much lube. Try some Kroil all other the action and down the chamber and let it sit for a while. Try in several different temps like set it in the sun and put it in the fridge. Sometimes a little temp shock can get things moving.

If you get too western with it and break your bolt handle off, send it to C Dixon, he has a action clamp that he milled specifically for this.

Before you do anything that can damage your action. Remove the action from the stock, then remove the trigger just to make sure that you don't have anything binding on the bolt that can be removed.
I'm still thinking you have a problem with your trigger/safety that was mentioned in the other thread.
Then try the lubing, tapping, and hammering that everyone else has suggested.

I tried Mr. Dixon, no answer, I'm going to take it to a local guy and see what he can do for it. Thanks for everyone's help, I'm just worried I will harm the gun

I would say this too...Im thinking like you said its related to the safety is stuck and blocking the bolt.

I pulled the stock , removed the accu trigger , tried the rod down the muzzle , I finally took it to a reputable gunsmith around town!! He's a week out before he can fix it. Thanks for all the ideas, he said he will have to remove the barrel to fix it.

If this ever happens again, and you have access to a freezer that can hold the barreled action, pull it from the stock and stick it in there for a few hours.
When you take it out you only have about a couple minutes to work with it but it should shrink thin the wall thickness enough to break it free.
