Hey guys,

I recently purchased a BO 0MOA rail (upgrading from a Nightforce rail). Upon opening the rail, the finish appears very rough compared to a Nightforce. The underside has some polishing/shiny spots and feels rougher overall. Is this common on Badger products? I don't care about the finish itself, I'm more concerned that I got a returned rail that someone else has mounted or attempted to mount.

Thanks!

Re: Quality of Badger Ordnance Finish

It has been my experience that BO products are built with an emphasis on function over form...and rightfully so.

Yeah their scope rings have a "worn and cheap looking" finish bu the quality is outstanding. Most of their stuff get used by military anyway and they will paint them with about 5 colors of krylon, so they are probably not concerned with a showroom finish.

So they work and don't give a crap how they look... maybe they should've called themselves Honey Badger Ordnance =) Thanks for the replies! I'll mount it shortly!
