I recently bought a savage fcp 110 chambered in the .338 lm. I in need of a scope and have narrowed it to 3. The ones I am interested in are vortex hd, bushnell elite tactical and the vortex viper. I am new to the long range gun but I have hunted for years an would like a scope for both hunting and long range shooting. What are your thought thanks!

I am a fan of the Bushnell Elite Tactical, they will be coming out with a 10 mil per revolution unit (5 mils per rev currently) which will solve one of the only gripes I have with it. Vortex makes a fine optic as well but the HD model has many more features than the Viper series, superior glass and front focal plane reticle to name a few.
My vote would be the Bushnell

I was leaning that way, I like the vortex but may be out of my price range! I would like to keep it under $1600 if at all possible!
