Great bullet, and very reasonably priced for the BC they offer and how well they shoot. I take it your running it out of a long action based off of your OAL, thats a LONG load.

Maybe you overlooked the Hornady offerings because they weren't one of those cool sounding expensive bullets
Glad you found the best deal in quality bullets around.
I am betting that OAL is with a comparator.

Yep. OAL includes a Sinclair 'hex nut" bullet comparator. Definitely going to be using more of the Hornady BTHPs.

I have always shot SMKs, but recently tried the Hornadys. I am not looking back. These things shoot great in everything I have tried. I am heading out tomorrow to test out their 52gr in my .223.

Yeah, I recently purchased some Hornady 68gr 5.56mm HPBT and 162gr 7mm HPBT and I have to say, they are very nice and shooting great. Their new AMP jackets are very consistent, especially at the meplat. Hornady bullets represent really good value in precision bullet market.
