Just ship it to one of the smiths on here. You'll likely get it back quicker and the job will be done correctly.

Tornado tech- no offense to the guys here but for this he's as good as the top guys.

They definitely know how to thread a barrel, but last time I checked their turnaround wasnt exactly spectacular... Could be different now though.

Or drive up to Arlington, WA (about 4 hours) and give it to Benchmark Barrels. Their barrels hold numerous world records and you wouldn't have to ship your baby. Or if you like to send off your rifle, give it to Dixon or Phoenix.
