If the substrate material is heat-sensitive (such
as plastic or wood) then a 200°F cure for 2 hours is
adequate.(from the cerakote manual online) I thought it said 180 was ok in the manual I got, but I don't have it here.

or you could take th' enternets word for it. No experience here with cerakoting a B&C, just bored.

Re: Bell and Carlson stock, temp rating???

i have flashed them at 180 and did ok. Mcmillan was the only one i tried to do a full bake on. If that helps. If you do, let us know how it worked lol

Re: Bell and Carlson stock, temp rating???

Thanks guys. I am not worried about the Cerakote curing at a lower temp. I've coated Magpul hand guards and such with it without issue, just wasn't sure if my particular stock was going to hate the heat even more than it should for some reason.

Just hated to do it, destroy the stock, and then find out that it was common knowledge to everyone but me that the B&C didn't like heat.
