Criminal background check

I need to do a criminal background check on some one. I need a site that is accurate and dependable. I would prefer free, but would also be willing to pay for it.Suggestions please.

If you need to know, you would know. There are avenues someone who has a legal and legit purpose to get a BI, can use.

"If you need to know, you would know." I really love statements like this. I had already been to the FBI's website and quite frankly, I didn't want to wait 6-8 weeks or longer to hear back from the Fan Belt Inspectors. I didn't want to go to some PI and pay them $250 for a 10 minute computer search. I was sure that someone on the hide would be able to point me to either the program to pay or a free alternative.
