Folks, anyone out there know if they makes a spacer to raise a Raytheon W1000-9 Thermal sight with the ARMS mount up slightly? The default height is too low to put on a flat rail. It only seems to fit on a rifle with a tapered hand guard or a bolt gun.

Was there a product listed there on the sight or do you just need to call? I see the unit itself but I see nothing under accessories. Any additional info?

Re: Spacer for W1000 Thermal

It's actually my brother's unit and his dealer got it from the original dealer who was putting them on the market from Raetheon. Unfortunately that's as much clarity as I have on that.

I am thinking for a short term tactical fix, I will get him a 1/2" yhm picatiny riser. For the real solution I would prefer to get the actual spacer for the A.R.M.S. mount.

So to add more information on this subject that I finally need to get back to and solve...it is an A.R.M.S. #19 riser with a spacer, I think model 7050 that is 5mm tall by 90mm long. This spacer bolts into the bottom of the W1000 and then the ARMS mount bolts onto that. I need a spacer that is about 7 to 10mm tall to work on a continuous rail.
