And then you'd have gotten arrested and languishing in an African jail isn't something to take lightly. The problem with this entire situation is that laws and international regulations make it kind of difficult to load up and roll into a foreign country on a human safari. In fact, most of the war torn African nations have UN arms embargoes that make it insanely risky to transit with any firearms (in both senses). Do these guys have a SOFA? It's not like a PMC security detail because these guys are actively targeting poachers.

If anything, I can see this being promoted as "see a bunch of veteran badasses go shoot up some bad guy poachers!" but in short order you learn that it's really, "yeah, so we're going to this area and training the locals how to fight off poachers".
