Banging in from Central PA

A new member from Central PA. Been reading a little bit on here and decided to join a great forum ! I retired from the U.S. ARMY a couple years ago with 26 years and still work !! Besides shooting competitions from short range (100-300 yds) I have competed at Williamsport 600 and 1000 yard matches with a 6x47 Lapua, now sold. I currently have a build going on now , it’s a BAT action, 28” Krieger barrel in a McMillain stock. in 6mmBR. Will probably change it to a 6 Dasher after a year maybe. Probably won’t see that rifle until late fall. I enjoy all shooting but competition is always a blast for me anyway. Harleys is the second passion. Ground piggin with my 6mmRem is up on the list as well. There’s never a shortage in PA !!!
Hope to learn a few things from the experts here. I’m sure I will !!!

I have a friend from Lewistown area that just got a 6x47L and is starting to shoot long range matches, Abe. He's hunted and shot long range for years but always from a more Benchrest type environment... I thought you might be him. He's a big fan of the 6 Rem as well.
