The Milkman

Slap I thought you were in NY!!!

That pic has gone viral and I imagine it is only a matter of time before the "good" cop is identified. I would bet that you are correct in there being more of these acts and that it still won't offset the negatives that have been brought to light. I am still of the opinion that there are more good cops than bad cops. I will let your recent land pirate comments slide since I expect that ribbing from the cannon flodder squad. I was just talking to the police chief in the next town over (we are in the county sheriff's jurisdiction) about the recent articles about local LEO issues. He was voicing his frustrations at how one sided the newspaper is in hammering the bad things and not even mentioning or reporting the good things. I think this picture is the rareity as we more often than not hear and see the negative and not about the good or positive which I suspect happens more often than the bad.

PS: Don't let this be taken that I support your jack booted thug Gestapo tactics Slap!! Gotta get 'em when I can!!!

Shouldn't be a (Lockdown) to begin with. I cant help but think what the response would be if LE/ATF/FBI/CIA/NSA/DHS/SWAT/R2D2/C3PO would be lined up outside my door telling me that I am confined to my home, or that they are forcefully entering my home, and I tell them to go fuck themselves, lol. I, as well as every other citizen in this country are personally responsible for the safety of my family, home and property. Not some alphabet agency.

Now that Im off my soapbox, it was a kind act of the officer. And I hope the family had lots of cereal and chocolate milk!

There was no "lockdown". From all accounts the Gov. asked/requested that everyone shelter in place till this was over. A request, meaning they could have told the Gov to pound sand and gone about their business. The media has coined the term "lockdown" much like it does when it uses assault weapon to describe most long guns. Don't get caught up in the verbiage.

Ahh ok. Glad to hear about that. Thanks for the clarification.
