Not on our dime.

Bet they could have cut a Diversity Commitee or some such crap and made the security a wash but instead they discount the security of their kids to assuage some false guilt.

This isn't about safety (never has been), it's about agendas and to pass such a law would be to admit that guns aren't the problem so of course they didn't pass it.

These people DESERVE what they ask for, what sucks is that its the kids in future school shootings that will pay for their parent's/community's agenda.

What are the proposed unarmed security guards for? So they can shout HELP real loud once before they are shot?
Schools need armed guards. Only a good man with a gun can stop a bad many with a gun.

(Sadly)

LOL. I was about to post almost the same thing but it just seemed too .....real.

We don't know enough about the proposed budget to understand why it was rejected by the voters - but you can bet it wasn't the $770,000 for security out of a $72,000,000 budget.

Around the Newtown tragedy I seem to recall hearing on the radio that Barry's kids went to school where there no less than 8 ARMED security persons.
