Finally pulling the trigger. Getting my rifle rebarreled for the first time.

I'm going to build a rem 700 with a 28in 1:8 twist in 260 remington. Its going to be for long range shooting and competition. Still deciding on which stock to use but I really like pistol grip stocks. I went shooting with my dads rifle with a vertical grip and it was very comfortable so I'm leaning towards manners t4.

I would look at Accurate Ordnance. They do awesome jobs, and have great customer service. Plus they are pretty quick. Of course there are other great smith's out there too.

If you like pistol grips check out the McRee chassis. You'll love that caliber, length and twist.

I have some 260 ammo. currently saving for reloading stuff (neck sizer bullet seater, im thinking forster). Rifle is being barrel is being made this week and installed next week. This will be my first build, hoping I will choose the right stuff. I'm going to order a manners stock soon probably. Will post update pictures soon.
