built my Rem-age 700 today

260 match, CBI barrel... headspeaced it today, broke it in, pulled it back apart, will sandblast then nitride it..

Help me out, I have seen some Lugs pinned and some not, what is the advantage of having it pinned? Keeping it located during barrel installation?

looks good Ring. Did you have the action notched like a Savage for the recoil lug? That's what I did and it worked out great.

yes, had the action lugs trued and notched by dark eagle, and the bolt is PTG

Dan did mine as well and did a phenomenal job on truing mine all up. If anyone is wanting to do one of these Rem-age builds, I highly recommend calling Darkeagle for any action work. Ring, be sure to post up a pic of the final product.
