wherever I may roam...
So i've been needing new shoes for a while, and on a buddys recommendation, dropped the coin on some Merrell Moab WP's. Then found some Keen Siskyous, that look to be a better built shoe. Anybody with experience with either or both of thes? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

I have had much better luck with Keens. The last two Merrell pairs I had fell apart on the inside very quickly. With the Keen Voyageur(non-waterproof version of the Siskyous) I had had no problems, and they are a way better built shoe.

I prefer Keens, though some of their newer models have narrower toe boxes, which I don't like. Nonetheless, I've used them constantly for the past four years and they've stood up to real punishment.

I've been wearing a pair of Keen's for a few years. Everyday wear and a few hikes per year. They have held up pretty well. Parts of the sole are starting to come unglued this year. Nothing some shoe goo can't fix. With that said. I've never owned a pair of Merrel's. I did however just buy a pair of Danner Tachyon's for work. So light! So comfortable!
