This is a recent download and the issue that I keep having is that when I pick the G7 setting and select the 123 gr Scenar from Lapua it populates the program with the G1 value. I have cross referenced the value it is using against the values in Litz' book and with the Lapua website - and what is being used in the program is the G1 value. If I try and manually change it to the G7 value, once I exit and re-start - it defaults back to the G1 value. I have emailed Litz thru their link on the help page and no response. Am I missing something?

OK, since there has been no response, I will make it more generic: has anyone had issues with Shooter as far as accuracy of the inputs goes, and does anyone have suggestions on how to reach the designers of the app for help besides just their email address which does not seem to generate any kind of response.

Guys thanks for the reply. Ring, I just downloaded the app on Friday, when I go into bullet library under Lapua and select 0.264 cal there are two 123 gr scenar options available - 123 Scenar and 123 Scenar Silver - but when I select either one, and select G7, it defaults to the G1 value which is what he has in his book and matches the Lapua web. Weird. And so far, no response to any of my emails. Any thoughts?

I had something funny happening with Applied Ballistics and emailed them today, I had heard back with resolution from Brian within hours. I realize this isn't Applied Ballistics but I did read that they were still supporting Shooter.

it wont convert g1 to g7, if your adding a g7, for a non-"litz" bullet, you need to convert the G7 your self

you can do it here
G7 Flash Ballistics

or

JBM - Calculations - Drag Function Conversion
