Savage Model 10-TR .308 with a 20" barrel and Griffin comp with a Surgeon bolt handle.

I'm excited! I just shot it this past Sunday and man, this thing is awesome.

I just mocked it up for folks to see.

Nice rifle, and glass, but why do you have the optic so high? Is this a carry over from your Semi Auto rig? How much elevation do you have left on the turret?

Yeah those rings were going to go on my AR because they are way too high on this rifle. I'm selling the scope but if I decide to keep it, I need to go with lower rings for sure.

I think you should get a longer, sharper bolt knob, that way it can double as a back scratcher.

Smart man! Spend MORE on your optic than rifle. My Stevens 200 makes sub .5MOA groups consistently becaus of the NXS on top of it more than any other factor.
