Anyone here use Dark Eagle Custom mags in their Savage?

I am considering just keeping the factory DBM in my Savage build and just buying the Dark Eagle Mags. Anyone have any? How are they?

My other option is the new PT&G BM coming out soon, just curious if it will be the same inlet for the stock..?

Anybody have pros or cons of either? Would be much appreciated!

Accurate mag has bottom metal that fits the stock inlet if you have the side bolt release. Takes AI mags.

I have three of Dan's 10 round magazines and they have performed FLAWLESSLY throughout all my matches (6) in both my .260Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor. Mag changes are damn fast (big mag hole to hit), especially when you add on the extended mag release I have the PTG DBM on order, but that is for my 6.5 SAUM build. I spoke with Dan about doing a 10 round WSM mag, but he has limits on how deep he can cut the mag body. I don't think you can wrong whichever course you choose and cost wise they are quite similar. Although the PTG may need some finessing for fit and function dependent on how close it matches the factory DBM inlet.

I have three also, very similar to the SSS mags that I have. I like them both.

I have one, it works great, One thing I did notice is that the Bolt rides the feed lips on the mag.. Are you guys seeing the same thing?

The factory mag is smoother bolt operation then the 10 round mag. Should I trim a little off the lips?
