Good grief this is starting to get old.

$77 for 500pcs of brass from our favorite online seller and ALOT of it appears to be MG fired. Oh well...

I tumble (again, I don't trust what they did at the store)
I decap
I lube with one-shot
... stuck in my Lee die (glad I didn't do this with my SB RCBS die)

Remove lube with another tumble
Lube by hand each case with Imperial
Lube the inside of the necks this time
... success! But, the base is on the high side. :(
Tumble again...spray with one-shot... then use the SB die... success!!!
I checked the trim length and its definitely too long (won't chamber in my 700)
Trimmed to high-side of spec (custom ordered Lee trimmer)

Checked the necks, horribly out of round... not happy.
Gotta say staring at 450 cases left to go through, this is going to be a long winter.

I broke 2 pins this week on my lee dies hitting 308 brass that has the 3-stamp square crimp on them. Im thinking about going through my brass and throwing all those away since I cant seem to remove those primers.

Do you have access to a decapping die? I cant remember if the pin is heavier in mine, but it doesn't do any sizing of the brass and I bought one from RCBS. Also how are you removing the primer pocket crimp? I started with a RCBS die to swage the primer pockets, but upgraded to a Dillon, you can do A LOT of primer pockets in a HURRY once you get the Dillon adjusted.

Most of all Military .308 Brass was shot from a machine gun. It is only a pain in the ass to work on the first time, after that it is easy.

1) Decap and Resize in separate steps. Use the Lee Decapping Die
2) Resize - Use Liberal amounts of lube on every case and use quick motions. If you use Lee Dies, excess lube will not dent the brass due to lube relief holes in the dies. My preferred sizing lube is Mobil-1.
3) Use Giraud to Trim
4) Use the Dillon Super Swager to swage.
