Best Muzzle brake for 308

No idea which one is best. I love my Badger Micro FTE though.

Supposidly Knight's new one is good, but very $$$. The Surefire SFMB762 is working well for me.

Seekins ATC...Surefire SOCOM/762/etc...PRI/MSTN QC .308.
All of the above are great options in no particular order. I have used them all and they all work well depending on your budget, expectations, etc. Of those three, I have the least time on the Seekins, but it is quickly gaining favorite-status as I've been using it on a lightweight 16" Armalite AR-10 I built in .308. It does an excellent job of negating muzzle climb and keeping you on target for faster follow-ups and otherwise reducing perceived recoil (not that a .308 gasser really has all that much if properly equipped/configured).

I'm looking at grabbing the JP brake for my LR308. I've been told the surefire works well.
That said be courteous and don't blast your fellow shooters at the line.
I was next to a tactimando at the range a few weeks ago and his brake was blowing me and my friends glasses off. I don't mind but when he mag dumps after mag dumps it gets annoying when your rubbing your eyes every 5 min your whole range trip.
So be cautious of your neighbors and aware of your blast zones with these things fellas!

If you want both a brake and flash suppression I think the most effective that I've used is the Battle Comp BABC.

I put a SOCOM on my LMT MWS and it was very effective at reducing the recoil and muzzle flash. But was a real headache to time properly as the shims needed to time were way out of spec which resulted in a prolonged trail and error until i got the right combination which was nowhere near what the timing wheel in their book said was required to time the brake properly.
wow! from $89 to $1800... lol gotta love capitolism. I'm wanting to get a DPMS LR-308 in 24" stainless bull barrel . My Savage LE110cp got mounted on a heavy stock and became my long distance toy. (accurate too). I still use the Nightforce 12-42 scope, and it'd be awesome if it's possible to keep the target in the scope at 42x. Don't know if thats possible, but worth working towards. As usual, this place is my go to for good info. If I'm reaching for something that isn't that good, let me know.
If you can afford a suppressor, that'll make your shooting experience much more comfortable than a brake, and reduce very nearly the same amount of recoil.
If you look on you tube you'll find some quite lengthy videos with head to head comparisons. The Benny Cooley design seems to get great reviews. I ordered a $30 stainless break from Harrell's Precision for my win mag and it works very well. I'm thinking about doing that one again for my LR308
