Sorry to bug everyone with this and if it is a really good deal that I cannot get I hope someone here ends up with it. But that being said I am one to believe when something is to good to be true it usually is. I found this listing on Ebay just a little bit ago with 9 hours left for a Vectronix PLRF15C for around $2000 at the moment. I had a few questions for you guys. Does it look legit and not some knock off? I think my biggest concern is that it could be liberated equipment and don't want to take the chance of being out that much in personal funds. Would you take the chance? Could it be liberated equipment with a new shell on? As I posted earlier I just ordered a Trimble Nomad and FFS, and looking to complete the set. I know its over kill for me but I have the funds to work on nice gear and I would like to get something nice as all I do is work and shoot, I tend to put a lot into this bad habit of mine =).

* I have no affiliation with this seller before anyone questions it, I am in the market for one of these and have seen them all around $4400 and up to $8k for a new one which this one claims to be.

**If the seller is a member here please don't take any of these questions personal, I just wanted to know what others think of it before I commit.

Thanks,
Andrew

Actually I was the seller, the original price was 5,500. They just weren't selling so I drop it to 3,500 with a bid min of 2,000. The problem was that everyone wanted to bid at the end so that why it look so cheap. The only reason I sold them was cause I am having a baby and I need every cash I can get. I am even selling my supra. Just that type of financial situation I happen to be. They are great optic and were in great condition. Sorry if it look like a scam, I just needed them to sale. I had them for over 3 years.

SCAM. The ebay listing is for Miami, his ONLY other POST here on Armslist says he lives in California. Plus, his English SUCKS !!!!! Not American, smells like a pure SCAM.
I see the ebay listing ended in a sell, would love to hear how THIS turns out ???

SCAM ALERT !!!

And if you can shill post here, who knows what you are capable of at Ebay.

You are a scammer and a cheat. Get the fuck off our forum. We do not want your kind here.

Thank you and I wouldn't rip somebody off. It just hard time call for those type of moments. They actually sold for 3,100. Little by little everything would turn out well.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...easy does it boys!

My first thought after reading this post was maybe YOU should "get the fuck off our forum" after all RALTA didn't have to post here to defend himself if he was a scammer, especially after the auction ended and he had his cash in hand. I find it interesting how negative people can get when they're ignorance gets in the way common sense.

RALTA is an honest, considerate and FAIR individual. After numerous conversations both over the phone, email and texts, I decided to bid on the said RF. In fact he was going to sell it to me a few days prior for a negotiated price but he wasn't able to pull the listing without paying some sort of fee(penalty?) so I had to see the auction through to the end. In the end I won, paid for it and it was in the mail the following day. Shipping was extremely quick and the unit is exactly as described, in fact he even bought and threw in a new case as the original case was a bit dirty.

So I have to say in response to his written replies here, while his typing may not be great, his English is perfect in speaking with him(maybe he spent more time fighting for your country than he did learning written English).

I have no idea if any of the posts above are true or not. No idea.

But let me share a story about my second Perazzi. A guy was selling an MX-2000 in mint condition. If you're not familiar with them, these are expensive shotguns. I sent him a message with a REALLY low-ball offer. I was very polite and acknowledged my offer was thousands below the guns worth, that I hoped he got what he wanted for it, but that I had cash just in case.

Months went by and I heard nothing and really didn't think about it again. Until I got a call out of the blue. The seller asked if I was still interested, and I said I was. He then went on to explain that when I first emailed him he was extremely insulted and pissed off at my low-ball offer. But went on to explain that his son had been in and out of the hospital for months and his family was bleeding cash right and left and was desperate for money NOW. He said that given the circumstances he now considered my offer like a God-send as he wasn't getting any action on the gun (limited market for a pro-grade trap gun at the time).

I bought the gun, and it was totally legit by the way, for a song. Yet the guy dropped me a nice line every year or so thanking me again as it really helped him out when his back was against the wall.

I mention this just to let everyone know that these things DO happen, even if they seem unbelievable at the time. Note, however, that the guy I dealt with did come with references.
