bolt release placement on savage lrp

Do the new LRP models with the hs precision stock have the side or bottom bolt release?

To the best of my knowledge the 12LRP's still have the side bolt release. However Savage does have a tendency to change stuff without announcing it. This is why the stock pictured on their website is different than the currently shipping stock.
