    This stuff kicks rite-in-the-rain's butt.

I got pretty tired of my databook pages ripping - and instead of using the white circles, decided to fix the problem.

I found some fully synthetic paper currently approved for use by the Army for field manuals that is laser printable. I created my own databook pages (or you can use any of the free sources all over the internet), and they don't tear out, and they are 100% waterproof to boot.

They only come in 2 colors however green and white (no tan).

This paper is great for a bunch of uses - anytime you don't want your paper to easily rip or degrade in weather - essentially anything you would want to laminate.

The paper is not truly rip proof - I think if you really tried hard you could rip it out of the databook, but it is very difficult.

You can write on it with pencil, pen, sharpie, dry erase - pretty much anything. Pencil erases - everything else stays on unless you wipe it with alcohol - which is kind of nice.

Anyway, I am carrying this in my store if anyone wants to buy any - for use in any of your projects. It doesn't work on inkjet printers - just to be clear - I have to find another product for that (since I don't have a color laser printer).

Let me know if you have used something like this in the past, or are currently using something similar - I'd be interested in other ideas for use !

:) - its quite a bit more expensive than regular copy paper. Not sure how it compares in cost to lamination - but I suspect is ends up being cheaper - surely in the long run - especially if you have to reprint / make changes etc.

I also wish they had more colors, but its a pretty narrow choice of colors.

Something might be worth trying.... manila file folders, standard tan ones. Its thick, but not too thick. Once its crushed up and broken in, it starts to feel like currency paper. It does hold up remarkably well to water. Maybe some experimenting today.......

Does anybode have a source for free data books?
    Thanks in advance

I think there are actually a lot of online resources for data book pages, here are some:
    http://www.stormtactical.com/stu.htm
    http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/Recreation/AMA/SniperLogBook20081217.pdf
    http://www.primalrights.com/library/articles/rifle-data-book-a-lesson-dope
    https://www.ar15.com/forums/Precision-Rifles/My-Collection-of-Sniper-Data-Books/1-32/

Those are just the top pages from a google search for "free shooting data book pages".
I believe there might be pages in the Hide somewhere as well, the search is a bit less functional, but you can google search the forum for the info as well...
