This stuff kicks rite-in-the-rain's butt.
I got pretty tired of my databook pages ripping - and instead of using the white circles, decided to fix the problem.
I found some fully synthetic paper currently approved for use by the Army for field manuals that is laser printable. I created my own databook pages (or you can use any of the free sources all over the internet), and they don't tear out, and they are 100% waterproof to boot.
They only come in 2 colors however green and white (no tan).
This paper is great for a bunch of uses - anytime you don't want your paper to easily rip or degrade in weather - essentially anything you would want to laminate.
The paper is not truly rip proof - I think if you really tried hard you could rip it out of the databook, but it is very difficult.
You can write on it with pencil, pen, sharpie, dry erase - pretty much anything. Pencil erases - everything else stays on unless you wipe it with alcohol - which is kind of nice.
Anyway, I am carrying this in my store if anyone wants to buy any - for use in any of your projects. It doesn't work on inkjet printers - just to be clear - I have to find another product for that (since I don't have a color laser printer).

Let me know if you have used something like this in the past, or are currently using something similar - I'd be interested in other ideas for use !
