Please oh please let this be fake!!!
They just hung themselves!!!
Would it be wrong to post the name of the Attorney representing the Plaintiff ?
I will not post it unless you say it is ok to do so.
In this case, the Complaint alleges that Snipers Hide is “a Colorado corporation, with its
principal place of business located at 3205 Fenton Street, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80212.” Doc.
1 ¶ 4. However, the “LLC” in the entity’s name indicates that Snipers Hide is actually a limited
liability company, and a search of the Colorado Secretary of State’s website confirms this to be
the case.1 Despite Snipers Hide’s status as a limited liability company, the Complaint does not
indicate the states of citizenship for each general and limited member of Snipers Hide, or
whether those members, in turn, have members of their own (and their corresponding
citizenship). Based on this lack of information, it is unclear whether there is complete diversity
in this case.
Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED as follows:
1. Plaintiff is directed to SHOW CAUSE as to why its Complaint should not be
dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. Plaintiff shall file a written response
with the Court within FOURTEEN (14) DAYS from the date of this Order. Failure
to respond within the time provided will result in dismissal of this action without
further notice.
DONE and ORDERED in Orlando, Florida on February 10, 2014.
I have posted a support thread with details in the Site Information Section
Just incase you have not realized it, this a Federal Lawsuit against us...
...Please send them to Davy jones' locker financially with a counter. They have unleashed the Kraken !
I don't know how much the plaintiff's attorney is charging in this case, but if it was me I would want to talk about renegotiating the fee. While the genius counsel pursuing the sei case set the bar for legal writing pretty damned low, this knucklehead from Orlando just limboed right underneath.
Great thinking. Whoever does your PR and strategic planning should be promoted to building rifles.
It's hilarious how fucked you guys are at TR; and you probably didn't even think about the aftermath of this.
Please do not contact them or post stupid threats or comments ... you don't do any of us any favors. I have already had to remove a few.
Put them on your pay no mind list.
Wow! Just wow!
I'm very glad the "fan boy" syndrome hasn't gotten ahold of this thread. It isn't unusual for a group of "I own one, therefore; they must be worth every penny, maybe more", to chime in on this type of subject. I realize this is more about a lawsuit, and not the quality of the product, nor the price, but nonetheless, the fan boys have stayed silent. I'm guessing there aren't very many satisfied owners of tr's product on the hide.
"which basically bans free unbiased speech on his forum."
That's my favorite part about the reference to Frank. They neglect the fact that this is a private forum that is owned and operated by Frank. Sniper's Hide being a private entity means there is no legal requirement to allow free speech.
The suit is absolutely ridiculous on all grounds they allege and obviously fighting is the proper course, it just sucks that TR is subjecting the involved parties to this crap.
The comments at TTAG are priceless. I see this whole thing is showing up on most of the forums.
This is going to turn into a gangbang pretty shortly.
With the amount of people that have literally been robbed by TR.net and the deep set hatred towards them by people who have been lied to and scammed, this is either going to give the defense so much valid proof as to the level of shit TR.net puts out as well as conform in a possible countersuit by all parties involved.
So what do you do? You file a lawsuit against the site where 95% of your potential customers would be, and probably 95% of your past (mostly unhappy) customers are.
That's right. All those people you dicked around and stole from that either didn't have enough money for a lawyer or didn't want to put any more money into an already lost cause could now be brought together via a counterclaim.
Great thinking. Whoever does your PR and strategic planning should be promoted to building rifles.

Do you have access to PACER ? or something similar ?
We'll see if they respond when you consider the direction this can go.
