I am looking for help in finding an accurate budget .308 target/sniper rifle that I could use to hunt with. I am looking in the $300 to $700 range I know, not too much to ask right?
Howa, Remington, or Savage take your pick and you'll be just fine. As funds allow upgrade the stock and bottom metal. Do you have an optic? It's just as important of a decision as the rifle itself.
Try to find a varmint barreled Remington 700. There are all kinds of flavors. If you can't afford a scope to go with it, buy one of the package deals that comes with a cheap scope just to get you out shooting. Everyone starts somewhere.
Thanks gentleman I am leaning towards the Savage 190058 it has the accutrigger, accustock, heavy flitted barrel with the 5r rifling with an 11.25in twist.
