I currently own a SS YHM .30 Cal Phantom. I run it on my SBR but the damn thing is so front heavy. I would like to get a new titanium one. What are the pros and cons. I would like it to be rated to .300 Win Mag.

The one negative I am aware of with regards to Ti cans is that on semi auto's you can't dump mag after mag through them without letting it cool down. But other than that ( and they do cost more compared to a SS can), there's no reason I can think of to not get a Ti can.
Ti cans are the only way to go they'll last forever if you treat them right and do ultrasonic cleaning when dirty!
I went carbon fiber handguard for that reason on my 10.5" 300BLK SBR. This rig is nuthin fancy, but has pretty nice balance and shoots nice. Just over 9lbs with a full 20 round mag....but yeah, I want a Ti too.
I have seen Ti cans glowing after having done lots of FA mag dumps. I wouldnt recommend it for long term usage as they wont last, but semi auto SHOULDNT kill a Ti can.

Waiting for 3 TBAC suppressors now. Two 30BA and a 338BA. I have 2 DTA SRS A1s and an AI AXMC short action on order. Have shot TBAC suppressors on my DTAs and they are a dream! Forget the semi autos and get a good precision bolt platform and you'll NEVER go back. Too much fun to be legal!
Just have to be mindful of the heat with a Ti suppressor. I run a Ti can on my SBR'd Ar-15 and I try to not dump more than two to three mags without letting it cool, it gets pretty spicy pretty quickly. Avoid the extreme temps and you should be fine.
Thank all. I will go with Ti. Looking at the TBAC but since the YHM brakes are on all my rifles I may stick with that. My SBR is a 10.5 and they are both rated to .300 WM so I think I will be ok on a 5.56.
