I have an HTC converted to MP5 by RDTS. It has always worked flawlessly. The last time I went to shoot it the bolt would lock up after firing the round and not cycle. It would lock up so tightly that I had to put the cooking lever on the edge of a table and put all my weight on the stock to get it to open. I can't visually find anything obvious or broken. Any help would really be appreciated.

Sounds like really high pressure hand loads. Even factory ammo can be bad. It happens. I found a loaded factory .243 round without a primer or even a flash hole in the primer pocket of the case head in a box of 20 rounds once upon a time.

Does the empty case have the chamber flutes impressed (raised) on the outside of it? In an over pressure firing, the brass expands into the chamber flutes and effectively locks the gun up.
it can be a bitch to get open. Had that problem before.

I'll see if I can find a case in my miscellaneous drawer and post a pic.

Change ammo to factory and you'll likely see the problem go away.
