DD, I have been paying attention, I just can not believe how far it's gone. Just when you think you've seen everything, the next idiot walks through the door. If you've ever watched Mike Judge's Idiocracy, every time you walk into Walmart, McDonald's, Quickmart, or any level class at the university, you have to either cringe, chuckle, or throw up a little in your mouth.

Something as potentially serious of a crime as this, I'm glad they pushed charges. The article stated she called 911, but also said she fled the house after the shooting and I have a feeling there's more circumstances that didn't make the article. A grand jury can decide if it warrants going on from initial charge, she'll have her day in court.

Apart from blaming these people for having mush for brains, I also blame YouTube and social media.
People do stupider and stupider stuff and do even more risky stunts to try to get more stupid people to watch them and hopefully get money for being watched.
Thanks for modern medicine most idiots survive their stunts.

I'm going to say probably the kids need to spend some time being cared for by a responsible family member, if any exist in that gene pool.

Also a good lesson that bullets with large amounts of mass behave very differently than much lighter standard bullets when they encounter barriers and tend to punch through stuff.
I would bet even with a Level IIIA vest a .50 DE at point blank range would probably send you to the hospital possibly even in critical condition if you were unlucky.

I live about 20 miles away from where this happened in Halstad, MN. The first I saw of this was her booking photo in the local paper before it was released as to what had happened. The photo did not show someone who was distraught but someone who had no clue of what was going on. She has been charged with manslaughter and the authorities have the video of the shooting but are not releasing it at this time. The scary thing is the local news reporters talked to other family members who knew about the idea and told them not to do it but that was the end of their involvement. In my mind they are partially culpable for what went on as is the dead guy(verdict is in) and the girlfriend(awaiting trial) who pulled the trigger. When you know something stupid is going to transpire that is reasonably going to result in someones death and you do nothing your a big sack of shit. Yes they are all fucking morons, but the scary thing is who will be taking care of the child that saw(from the local reports) mom shoot dad and the baby she is carrying being 7 months pregnant. The state will probably hand them over to the closest relative that did nothing to prevent 2 idiots from ruining even more lives.
