The thing I like about it is it's a good vehicle that can do a lot of things...and most of us can afford it.
I badmouth Fordsons, never the less I have built an FE engine every winter for the last four years. This years was a 390 for a friends '63 'T-bird. It is a beautiful old car just a little weak kneed and smokey. $3K in parts and machine work, these old iron ducks aint cheap anymore and good parts are getting harder to find.
It's fine with me. I like many of the old classic cars; there are fewer and fewer of them on the roads these days, so it's a treat when we get to see one.

I had a 72 challenger with 440( not factory option ) and a 78 Ramcharger 360. Those were fun vehicles. Now I just drive an 01 trans am WS6 and a 15 dodge hellcat challenger. 700 hp and air conditioning

1964 T bolt 4 gear, burgundy purple. One scary ride in original running gear even today!
1964 A330 with 426 race hemi, not the street tune, auto, the hemi has enough torque to make an auto launch with stall converter.
