What is your favorite classic car, truck or SUV?

Used to mow a lawn for a guy who had a really cool older 4x4 truck (but in much rougher condition); was a similar year to this shown below.

Arguably the most beautiful body ever fitted to a Rolls-Royce. 1934 Phantom II Continental with H.R. Owen/Gurney Nutting Three Position Drophead Coupe coachwork. A stunning automobile that is even more impressive in person. This would be on my short list.

I wish artists were allowed to design cars again rather than a wind tunnel.

Classic car- 1955 Mercedes gullwing

Old hotrod- late 40’s to mid 50’s ford f-100 pickup, chopped, channeled, lowered

Muscle car- Ford Fairlane thunderbolt or 1969 Mustang

Sports car- Porsche 996 or E46 M3

New hotrod- This is the car I’ve changed in my mind the most throughout the years. The newest iteration starts as a W124 Mercedes with 500E body panels and a slightly sportier suspension. It will get at least an E420 or SL500 rear suspension, which is stronger. Under the hood will be the magic. Ideally it will have an om629 engine swap, this is a bi-turbo v8 diesel from everywhere else in the world. It will also be twin-charged with a large positive displacement supercharger feeding the turbochargers.

I Got this:

But I want this:

I owned two of these in the 80's sold them due to lack of money. I would like to swap in a 455, lower it, 4 wheel disc brakes and install a tan interior, everyone I have seen has black interior. I'm too old for the corvette, tight fit, noisy rough ride. I just want something to cruise around town.

I used to want a Shelby Cobra until I got to drive a couple of real ones. I'm just too big and tall for the car. I drove an original Sunbeam Tiger with the 289 and that car scared the shit out of me. There is such a thing as too small and light for the power...

I've always wanted a lead sled like a chopped 49 Mercury. A Shelby Daytona would be cool but I am worried I am too large of a mammal to fit inside that. Ford GT40, Ferrari F-40 or similar would be ideal.

So many cars i like and not enough money or places to keep them.
