In terms of parallax, ATACR 7-35 alternatives?

Before I pull the trigger on the ATACR, any other suggestions on optics that focus under 20 yds/meters?

Thanks!

ON max magnification there aren't too many choices, Some IOR's, March's offerings, the PM2 5-25 and the Field Target scopes. The 25Y minimum parallax scopes will usually focus at 20Y on medium magnification or a little less.

I have a March 5-40 which is a cool scope but I wish it were in the new FML T1 reticle.

Since you're considering an ATACR, the IOR Valdada 4-28X50 RECON can focus as close as 21 feet. @Mr.BR said some good things about it.

$3000 at SWFA, maybe cheaper somewhere else.

Thanks. I just got a 7-35 and it’s very nice. I am still open to other options though. The March and IORs looking pretty appealing.

If only TT focused at 25 or less......

Recon is exceptional value for money here in Europe in US is priced a bit high you actualy save a bunch by buying at Optic trade.

I am courently fooling around with a new Delta Optical Stryker HD , 4.5-30 and scope is exceptionaly good at the price point ,in US you have also same scope branded as Trijicon ,but Delta has in my opinion better reticles , like most scopes we see nowdays its built by LOW japan ,NF uses bunch of LOW made components.https://www.optics-trade.eu/int/delta-optical-titanium-4-5-30x56-hd-ffp.html

For NRL22 this is a great scope with very fine paralax in 20-200y

Otherwise interesting tesing by some BR crowd shootign scopes in scopecheckers, for POI holding , NF not doing well at all.

As the testing progreses guys have considerable sample size on many models and brands and like said total wipeout for NF

Second the March 5-40 with 10 yd parallax. Unbelievable scope. Have it on an air rifle, but I would maybe consider a S&B if you need high end due to more elevation travel...

In reality I never use under 50 yd on a rimfire...even a 35 yd target that is the closest on a string in our monthly rimfire match I leave parallax at 75 or 100 cause the targets go from 35-150 yds. I have yet to see a COF that requires the whole stage to shoot at pt blank. Its too easy. The other monthly rimfire match has nothing under 50 yds...

I would get a scope that has massive elevation travel over parallax as rimfire shooting has really expanded into a LR sport and you will need that elevation to stretch its legs.

Good luck!
