I run a bipod extension kit from Doug at Rock Lake Rifle Range. Rock Lake is a national PRS venue and Doug's a great guy. You keep the standard feet of the Harris but it adds a screw fitting that increases height by 1" or so. Then you can swap out for spiked feet or additional leg extensions if you need more height. Most of the time the extra 1" comes in handy and does the job.

This is the best thing you can do. YOu can use all atlas and the Amazon and ebay pieces, The bipid also flexes a little bit when its loaded so you take the skittering out that happens when you load the harris too much.
I did this and it wasnt as worth it like i thought. The pod mod will get you close with less Butt pain. But its a decent idea.http://precisionrifleblog.com/2015/01/05/bipod/
Half way down the page there is discussion of a "custom 7-12 inch Harris bipod". It looks like the guy cut an inch off the upper legs of a 9-13" Harris and used the springs from a 6-9".
do you have a link to the rock lake? I do like the flex of the podmodI wonder which is an easier solution between this and the Rock Lake one. Easier isn’t always better, I suppose.
do you have a link to the rock lake?
Cheers guys. Id love to do the 7 to 12 but thats mot really an option. Im in Australia and a harris sets me back about 230 bucks. Im not about to buy 2 to get one when this is going to be my back up bipod for stages where my atlas 5h is not a viable option. 1 of the 2 other options looks perfect
