I have been using Flatlineops flip out Accu/level covert on my scope and find it works really works well for me.Looking at Spuhr mount for a new rifle , the built in level does not look practical for me. It seems I would need an eye on my chin to use it and not break cheek weld.
With my current set up I can just glance up and see the levelling device without changing my position at all. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

You are missing that you dont really need a level in the first place. I stopped using them 2 years ago and it may seem like it is almost some kind of miracle, but I still hit most things that I aim at, even beyond 1000 meters. And when I dont, its hardly the lack of a level that would make the difference.

The Sphur mounts are excellent, I have have several... I wear contacts so seeing the built in level is impossible, so I still run levels up on the scope.

Recently put a Minox is a Sphur. Was able to see the level just fine with my non dominant eye without breaking position when the scope had the Tenebrex caps on it that it came with. I switched to Aadmount caps and cant see it anymore. So seems like a few variables if you can see it or not.

Sounds like witchcraft to me. Let’s see if @Vargmat weighs more than a duck!

Does anyone have a photo of an aftermarket level device on a Spuhr mounted scope? I'd love to see it. My new scope arrives in next 2 weeks and I'd like to get my mount right quick. Got $500 burning a hole in my pocket.

Thanks!

I have two spuhr mounts. With a Bushnell lrhs I could see the level below the ocular. I can't now but I can see it just fine with my left eye. Put the left edge of the bubble on the left line to make up for the angle.

I went electronic as well, you can see the level with my NF 7-35, but to me it’s not very precise being so small...but certainly better than nothing!
