I have been lurking for along time and am exited to come out of the shadows with my first post.
I bought a used non functional demo model of the armasight eagle gen 3+ white phosporous thinking that the tubes were 10160 and it was likely just a power failure. Was right about the power failure and was stoked about the smoking deal I got until I pulled the tubes out.
Tuurns out they are Russian which is not suprising given what I have heard about armasight. Anyone know how to identify these? Google hasnt been helpful.
They are 43 mm outside diameter and 18 mm lens diameter. The lens on the occular side is recessed. The image is inverted when I look through the binocs and there is a part which looks like it fits into the tube recess which is attached to the occular lens side. I hope I can remove that but havent gone there yet.
If I am not mistaken the outside diameter would fit in a Pvs7. I may just buy a couple pvs7 housings because the tubes may be pretty good and rebuilding that armasight pos is not a viable option. The inside of the eagle binoc looks a highschool shop project. Total crap.
