How do I delete a thread?

I cannot find it under my edit tab or any where else. Can someone help please. All I get is SAVE PREVIEW CANCEL.
I am on a desktop. I can see EDIT on my phone when I turn the screen, but see the same three options. I would like to delete me old for sale and selling posts.

I searched posts and found it was a permissions thing and that it should be fixed. Am I missing something?

Yes, I am sure I am logged in. I signed out and signed back in.

If it's a for sale thread, don't think you can delete those. Can you see delete option in this thread?

I do see a delete tab in this thread. You must be correct when stating you cant delete for sale threads as I cannot see any way to delete my old ones that have sold.

In firefox:

After you make a post, just to the right of the edit button is a Delete button.

Click it a box will open asking the reason for deletion, put the reason in the box then click delete in the box.

We locked users out of being able to delete PX threads. It's sometimes helpful to be able to go back and review what was posted, edited, etc. when disputes and conflicts arise.
Mods can see any historical version of your posts as long as the thread is intact.
Mark your stuff SOLD / SPF / WITHDRAWN or whatever in the title, but you cannot delete and you cannot erase the history of edits.
