I know @Geno C. was wanting some, and I'm sure some others would love to try this as well.
They have an American Single Malt in the works. That will be released in 2020, but in the meantime, you get your pump primed with their hybrid offerings (Scottish import blended with local products)

The cider cask is damned good and the Port Cask Highland Whisky is my favorite.

Go and get you some!

Tell 'em Tucker sent you!

My man!! Got 2 port cask and one cider cask on the way??

They didn’t have an option for the Tucker sent me discount...

Cool deal. Let me know what you think of it. Look forward to hearing your feedback. We're headed back up there next weekend. Going to take my Presbyterian minister brother and his wife with us this time. I might behave myself.

Man Tucker that sounds really good, especially being a Scotch drinker. Our Colorado barley single malts are really nice, and our local distillery is using wood cubes and ultrasound to age whisky faster (Peachwood!).

I thought you were further south, closer to the NC border. I was born and raised in Lynchburg so Lovingston is just up the road.

Here, in the blue ridge, at least according to the tour guide, the whisky ages at an accelerated rate because of of wild swings in temperature and humidity. The changes in climate, sometimes it's all four seasons here in a week, make for rapid expansion and contraction cycles that move the malt in and out of the cask fibers often.
They said they lose 7% a year, so a 12 year old from VA is pretty much out of the question. A 5 year old would likely be more the norm.

I used to be closer to the border, but we moved NW a couple of counties 6 years ago. I'm 1:45 from Lovingston now.

India ages “scotch” in high heat and humidity at 3000’ASL in 3 years.
Central VA has that kind of weather for sure.

How can the aging be consistent if you can have four seasons in a week? I’ll try anything once, but wonder if this is how an underage cousin can suddenly be fair play. ‘Honest ociffer, the weather was funny last week I swear she were legal even though she turned 14 on Sunday’.

Anyone order some and receive it yet? Put mine in on the 12th and haven’t heard anything. No shipping confirmation or anything. I got an order confirmation though. Might have to call them on Monday

I traded some emails with my friend at the distillery today.
They use a third party service for these orders and she is following up with them to see what's up with the orders.
Keep me posted if you hear from them or if the goods show up.

Amazon has spoiled me. I ordered something from another vendor a while back. Got the order confirmation and nothing else. Day 9 I decided it was time to follow up, so I contacted the vendor. They promised to look into it. an hour later the thing was on my porch.
I like tracking numbers!

Sooooo....
I made the call today and got my tracking number. First thing I did was check it. Saw that the label was created on the 15th but nothing after that. Called back and the lady said she would check into it and email me back. Looks like something wierd happened and they never shipped it.

It looks like fedex picked it up today so it should be on its way. I’ll be able to track it now. Don’t know who dropped the ball but the tracking number is the same so manybe they just had the box sitting somewhere it wouldn’t get picked up..

Wow! The stuff I picked up last Saturday was batch #10. This stuff has been sitting somewhere for a while.
Glad you like it! We're having a cold wet Nor'Easter here today, so I poured myself one as soon as I got in the door.
