Hey all! I’ve been a lurker here for a while and there’s a lot of good content!
I just purchased a new Nikon Monarch 5 that has a brown piece of debris on the internal lense. Wasn’t sure what to do as I need it for the upcoming weekend and the entire fall. Do you guys have any recommendations on what to do? I figured if I’d get it sent in for warranty work/replacement, I definitely will not have it for this weekend, so I’m kind of stuck! The other problem is that it is the recently discontinued 2-10x42 ED model, and if they would replace it, I would assume it would be with a different model. However, Nikon unfortunately doesn’t have any other 5x zoom range 2-10 magnification riflescope. I only got it a couple days ago and now I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place so to say, and I don’t know what to do. To say the least, it’s dissapointing with a $500+ scope to have a problem right at the get go, so I thought I’d reach out and see what you all would recommend.
Thank you!
