So instead of buying a tube of aero shell, I have access to the below 2 anti seize compounds. wondering which one I should use or just buy the aero shell?

Nickel Anti-Seize: protects to 2400 degrees and meets Mil-PRF-907E
Copper Rich (Copper Coat): protects up to 1800 degrees and exceeds MIL-A-907E, this one is made for maximum conductivity.

This is for the barrel nut threads and the barrel itself.

If you get your barrel up to even half the lowest temp rating you will have other problems I imagine.
I went with copper because it was the cheapest when and where I was when I needed it.

Yes, exactly right; the heat rating in this case has no impact on the choice for this application. Either one will work; I have both but usually just use the nickel stuff.

this rifle will never see that temp range and if it does, ill be more worried about nuclear fall out than anti seize compounds. it just seems to be a better product which is why I was considering it over the copper.

thanks guys for the help. as always, much appreciated.

I have the anti seize, but honestly I just give it a rub of grease and some more on the threads and that's it. Why I don't use it anymore despite having it handy, I can't tell 'ya. I just haven't seen any drawbacks from not using it and the TW25B or EGW works great.
