The only way to be rude on the Hide is by not sharing a screaming deal on ammo or optics, after you first get yours ordered, of course.

As for the birthday thing, not even sure why it's there in the first place, unless if there's some legal requirement to verify age of sorts. I typically use 1/1/19xx on websites that ask for it. I looked on here and holy shit, eight years ago I used my real birthdate, damn was I naïve back then... No, you can't see it if you're not a mod, at least I hope not anyhow. I'm not a girl so I haven't given a flying fuck about a birthday since I turned 21 (and still didn't get carded when I went to buy my first legal stateside sixer), usually I make a point of working my birthday just so nobody can make a big deal out of it.

Of course since I and millions of other Americans had their entire SF-86 info compromised in the OPM hack in 2016, there's a hell of a lot more I have to concern myself with than my real birthday being on a low level website like the Hide. Birthday? Pfft... Try every last piece of personal information including full medical, criminal and credit background info, every country I've ever visited and why, along with seven years of employment and residence info down to the day, topped off with every single immediate relative I have and their addresses too.

And yet the libs have a coronary when Trump tries to go after the ChiComs (who did the OPM hack) for anything. Fucking commies always stick together.

Just to add insult to injury the GAO found that the OPM still had not gotten around to plugging all the holes & securing their data infrastructure properly, the OPM claims they should have it completed sometime in 2019 "hopefully"

If I understand correctly the Chinese Communists may have also gotten a bunch of biometric information on people from that same hack.... there goes anybody's idea of "biometric security" which is a bit dumb for security anyways, since once someone steals the data & figures out how to use it, you are really stuck since you can't easily go change it on everyone.

Haha, you got that right. Considering I used to be quite the global traveler and worker, I can't even remember all the countries I've had a fingerprint scan at for an entry or work visa. Go ahead and take my shit, everyone else already has it, why not one more? All part fo the reason I got out of that game. Even DNA is now compromised and sold, nothing is sacred. You can't even register your car at the DMV any more without getting three reams worth of paper of ads offering an extended warranty for the next five years.

Privacy is a myth.

Just make this a sticky... Tell to submit in triplicate...

In the interim, they can wave this around and request loan of a fidget spinner.

Oh and to whoever reported LL....

You are going to be legend around here if anyone figures out who you are! Right after the Bear Pit version of soap in a towel. Extended Directors Cut.

Boowah ha ha hah ahaha hah a

Well, LL... just be thankful you aren't still at Scout. You'd have been reported to some crypto-facist puppet of the managerial elite and sent to Timeout in a conference room with three overly-insensitive Football site moderators and that angry sumo wrestler forum owner who we keep reading about in Sports Illustrated.

Keep the faith... And on Thanksgiving, we'll raise a turkey leg for your continued success!

Cheers,

Sirhr

Is there a way to see how many times we've been "reported"?

I have not had a vacation yet, but I do get kind of rude sometimes.

Wha huh?

I am guessing being rude is not against the rules or I would have been history some time ago.

I wonder how many times I've been reported? I'm only rude to people who don't inhabit the single reality we're all sharing...
Man that is hot .

So I got reported to the mods for being, “rude”

Member wanted their birthday fixed it was off by 1 number, and I said no I am not changing it.

Sure I can, but who cares, it’s a day issue, something nobody is paying attention too.

I have close to 300 private messages, I knock chunks off, but I get so many a day, from normal to stupid.

Now as the owner of this place, I have to decide, should I be banned?

The sensitivity level of people has official exceeded my level of care or concern. Translated, I suspect I will hurt feelings at an ever increasing rate.
Guess it depends did he say please?
