Does any body wish that more scopes adjust in more coarse adjustments such as 1/2 moa or even 1 moa, so that adjustments are faster and so that you can stay on the first revolution of your elevation turret?

I wish scope companies could come up with turret clicks that matched your reticle? Let’s say like a mil dot reticle? Where you could like measure something, let’s say a missed shot, measure it with the reticle then the turret clicks match the reticle, so when you are low one mil on a shot, you just dial up one mil on your turret? Let’s say, five clicks equals 1 mil, and they can fit 10mils on a turret? With numbers and everything on the turret numbers 1-10???

That would be amazing.....................

308. 800 yards. I have a leupold mk 4 with m3 dials. I love this scope because of the 1moa per click. But I'm still a pretty novice long range shooter. I also like to shoot alternate positions with a cuff sling. So I'm not really a bullseye shooter... yet. A hit Anywhere on the steel makes me happy Ha

Nope. Super high magnifications and turret adjustment of 1/8th MOA is my dream. Depending on the caliber one is shooting and one's goal (competition, paper punching) and range involved YMMV. I'm shooting at shit 300 - 1000 yards away and I need all the micro adjustment I can get.

I need micro adjustment and high magnification. Others might need other stuff.

Just stick around with us. Roll with the punches.

Go read everything you can here, then come back here and the humor will be more apparent.

Every so often I think to myself: "Today will be the day I don't see or reply to a post about MOA vs MIL, best rifle is under $XXX, or anything else that can be answered by simply shooting more than twice a year..."

Today was one of those days

I was soooooo close....

Then this thread came to exist...fucking interwebs.... And I couldn't help myself!

What you're looking for is a dual turret optic (DTO).

Basically there is a fine 1/8 MOA turret with a 5MOA turret infront of it. That way, if you need to make that hostage shot at 750 or get your elevation on the turret faster to ensure that a counter sniper doesn't dial faster and get you first, you're set.

These actually already exist but have been restricted to DoD/gov agency procurement and are hard to get a hold of. If you search back, there have been many threads about trying to get one over the years on here. If you do fine one, grab it regardless of price; if you do ever sell it, it will probably be worth more than you managed to pay for it to people on here.

I wonder if CS Tactical could get a special Hide order in to the Government on the sly, they sound like the perfect cross over scope.

Just wish it had an octagonal tube.

OMG I've heard of those for like forever, I can't believe I'm seeing pictures of the REAL DEAL.

You sure you're not committing a felony ITAR violation by showing it?

you should check out the Quigley Ford 520. don't even need to dial. custom to your rifle to 1k yards right in the reticle
Holy crap! Now we can make an ULTRA light scope! We don't even need an erector system in scopes anymore!

I can see it now: 2019 Quigley Down-Under Hold-Over Ultimate Super Sniper Team Solo Dirt Splash Challenge! Location: Guatemala!

Never is a *very* long time....when the digital stuff gets more refined (maybe another 5 years) I think a lot of stuff that was a "Dream" will be available. I had a chance to play with one of these ATM HD Digital scopes and was pretty impressed.

Ain't there yet but the next version I suspect will be something I'll buy.
