Anti Cant device for SPR

i have one on my Grendel but its wearing a 3-15

I can see how 3-15 would definitely benefit from it. I ended up ordering one for the 1-6. It will be there if I needed for the longer shots. They are not that heavy anyways... ha

I went with a Lone Star Precision Tube mount. I prefer the tube mount to rails or caps since it can be leveled to cross hairs regardless of rifle natural Cant.

I thought about that one as well-I like the rail mounted one cause it tucks in really nice on rail and I can get a good peek at it while shooting without little to no movement.

For 500yds, it's benefits will not be very pronounced, but it won't hurt for adding the bubble level check to your LR fundamentals.

It really starts to show up past 600yds, and is clearly measurable from thereon out.

Not necessary OP. Don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be.

I’ll echo what others have said. An anti can’t is definitely not needed for a rig with a 6x optic and especially within 500 yds. IMO you’re totally defeating the purpose of your 6x optic.

When you want to get off fast, “well placed” shots on a target at 500yds with a 6x optic, you’re wasting your time looking at a bubble level. Your first round is going to tell you more than the level ever will. If you wanna score a first round center mass hit at 500 yds you’re using the wrong optic.

(If you can even see where that first round goes)

(And if you don’t see where it goes—-what did looking at that anti cant ever help you with in the first place?)

Yeah, Point taken... Makes sense... I got wrapped up in the LR mindset... I have other options for LR Precision... And you are correct, seeing the bullet trail and/or impact does tell you a lot about the A to B track...
