You don’t have to force muslims to eat pork.... They just have to be hungry! I watched them eat dehydrated pork patties and ham slice out of first generation MRE’s all the time during Provide Comfort.
And for you younger fighters and civilians who never “enjoyed” first gen MRE’s. They are horrible! And the Ham slice and pork patty were the worst of the worst! ?

You are onto something. The border-jumping rapists, criminals, pedophiles, drug-dealers and camel-humpers have rights according to the leftist democrats. These same communists don't want to build a wall yet one of their first acts when they get in power is to introduce gun banning bills that infringe on our rights.

The GAO study states the cost to incarcerate these criminal illegal immigrants in federal prisons and for federal reimbursements to states and localities ranged from about $1.5 billion to $1.6 billion annually, 2005-2009.
thats refunded by the US govt.
then add in:
According to Victor Davis Hanson, a scholar at the Hoover Institution, the 30,000 illegal immigrants behind bars in California cost the state $1 billion annually. In addition, the state spends another $10 billion annually in entitlements for illegal immigrants.
thats state money on top of the reimbursement
lets say hes half wrong... ill give him $400 million for prison
1.5 + 400 million = Approx 2 billion in California alone.

so 5 billion + 2 billion = 7 Billion on the low side

Dehydrated pork patty and dehydrated beef patty were the ones I hated the most. Never ever had time to rehydrate those things. I always brought ramen noodles and McDonalds cheese burgers into the field. Those cheese burgers lasted for ever.
All the MREs sucked. That's what that little bottle of Tobasco was for. To this day the taste of Tobasco takes me back.
Mre's, we had c-rats, 2 smokes, 5 matches, salt, pepper, gum and whatever in a can with a p89.
If you were lucky you got to warm it up.
If you were smart you kept garlic and onion powder with you.
I started carying sterno, and snacks.
Not to bitch much I was lucky to get the good foxholes with a roof at times.

I always called MRE’s as Meals Refusing to Exit. No matter how much water you drink they always bind you up.
I've understood that the MRE is pretty much a three-lies-in-one-package. Meal, ready and eat..
We had our own pearls. For some years these had chili con carne and garlic breads in every ration. First one had the purpose of eating a couple and then not having to worry about the nr 2 for a week. Though then it was smarter to go in a supermarket or whatever. Not in own home. Chemical warfare... other was good fuel.
I do have to say the chili was a nice material for slick mines.
