I do shave off my masculine beard. I do so with a 1960's Gillette safety razor. They will never get a dime from me.
They would much rather that boys would be girls.
I'm going back to my straight razor.
I shave very rarely. Usually cut it down with face clippers so it always looks like I shaved 2 days ago. Occasionally I use a razor, but if I do, it's a stainless Merkur razor and a Feather blade.

Women probably go through razors more then men nowadays, shaving two legs and a vag is definitely more to mow. Plus, beards are kinda a thing now, I don’t know many who still do the daily morning shave.
I keep my beard in check with an electric trimmer and a straight razor. I think I went through 3 of those Mach whatever blades last year.

They are capitalizing on the now passing #MeToo movement. All due respect to any woman who has been mistreated, they aught to see that this is simply a ploy to sell more razors. Gillette doesn't give two flips about men or women. They care about $$$$.
I'll continue to do my thinking for myself. And as for shaving, when I shave I start with a straight-razor. I haven't used one in 'some-years-now' as My Lady prefers me with a beard. She trims it with clippers and scissors though, to how she wants me to look.
And I'm perfectly good with that. I'd much rather her do it, than a barber. And if I do it, I can get 'yelled at'... haaaaaaaaaa

This. I have always used a straight razor. Got that habit from my grand uncle. Almost all males in northern China keeps to the old ways. Heck, the demographics are almost 90% blue collar roughnecks.
Dixie Gun Works sold really good straight razors and I think they still do right now. Just ordered a 2019 catalog from them, waiting on it any moment now. The ones I had been using for years are made by local Amish craftsmen from Kidron, OH. Everything that comes from there are superb examples of art and functionality and are built to last. Especially the furniture.

FWIW - Gillette lowered their prices for the first time in years, because year-to-year sales were falling off. Me thinks they took this position to boost sales. Time will tell if this gamble work for them.
I have mixed feelings about this ad.
1: Beards are manly and say don’t F with me in a cool way so why do we have razors?
2: much of the ad would actually be positive if I didn’t suspect the political motives that probably lay behind it. The parts about being better and more honorable men are actually pretty decent.
3: you can call on men all you want to be better, but until this rising generation of women start to demand it most men won’t rise to the occasion. If you are a decent guy who is good to women and treats them with respect and takes care of kids and prevents douchebags from taking advantage of folks most young women these days will like to benefit from that but they won’t give you a second glance as far as being attracted. I am watching all the girls I grew up with abandon their values, rage against Trump, and marry Seattle type hipsters. These were supposed to be the “solid” girls with a good upbringing. Hell, I have a hard time even finding a girl around my age where I live who is an intelligent, conservative woman with good morals and values, who believes in God, and is halfway attractive. This next generation is more screwed than many of you older folks might believe. The good ones are really good, but they are few in number. Until women stop settling for hipsters and start demanding true, old fashioned masculinity most men won’t stand up and deliver because it is hard and it takes some semblance of balls. Oh, I am not giving them the benefit of the doubt. Just saying that that could have been a pretty decent ad if they tweaked it just a little to get rid of the anti man subtle slams. If you look at the end of my post I refer to the stupid virtue signaling in the ad.

I read that but wasn't necessarily criticizing you. Some companies make some big errors in advertising that are unintentional. I wanted to make clear the distinction between an unintentional error versus something they did deliberately.

I'm pretty decent at getting these types of girls. I'm much more decent at being headstrong and emotionally unavailable, which goes a long way in that situation. I've had a few cool girls that actually thought for themselves instead of parroting bullshit or just adopting my bearing in regard to most matters. Lots of chameleons and snakes out there for sure, though.
The thing that really gets me is when girls act stupid or make up small problems just so you will take their problems more seriously or spend time talking to them about stupid shit. I mean it works, if somebody helped me out every time I smiled at them just because I'm pretty and don't feel like handling something alone, I'd at least be aware of it. It's a huge turn off for me when a girl asks for help or purposefully complicates something simple. I don't know if they're trying to flirt or are just that useless, but it's annoying as all hell sometimes. I suppose some girls have to put up with shit like that from guys, too.
Except for a couple of years, I've worn a close cropped beard since I left the Navy in 1994. I do shave my neck below the jawline as hair there irritates the living fuck out of me. I shave about 2 - 4 times a week and when I do it's with the same exact razor you use. I tried Feathers but they irritated me something fierce. Personna stainless blades work just fine and shave close enough without irritation. I also use Cremo shaving cream, which is the absolute shiznit.
