Why is there laws against women making money with the assets they have on hand? Its a more honest profession than any legal, governmental or political job, why are these professions oppressing women and not letting them "Choose"?

Legalize it as there is no constitutional reason that it should be against the law.

Legalize it so it takes the criminal element out of the business.

Legalize it and tax the income.

Legalize it after Robert CRafts courtroom trial though, I am looking forward to this..

Free market...should be as free market means.

Legalize and tax. Just like man's other myriad vices such as tobacco, sports betting, etc. Everybody is happy. The prosti.........I mean sex worker, the customer, and the state.

We have states that have long legalized it and taxed it and ***oh my God***, it has not been the end of the world for them, just like some people said that "Wild West style" shootouts will happen if states passed CCW and Castle Doctrine laws.

There are people who will seek out the services of prostitutes even if it is highly illegal. And likewise, there will be people who will not indulge in that vice, even if it is completely legal and economically priced.

Bottom line is, it is not going away. Just like alcohol consumption, it is one of the oldest vices of mankind. Trying to make it disappear will only drive black market and organized crime profits. The best course of action is to make profits off of it.

Whether or not to keep the brothels open was on the ballot this last November(Lyon county Nevada). I was just moving into the area pre-election, and it was hilarious to hear our sheriff on the radio campaigning in favor of the measure. Apparently his department gets north of $300k/yr from the tax revenue, which he uses to buy equipment. The measure passed with a 3:1 majority. The incumbent Sheriff lost his re-election bid, and some people who were feeling sour grapes over the brothel measure asked the new sheriff what he thought about it. He basically said the voters have spoken. So nice to be out of California.

Prostitution is already the law.
What is illegal is making a fair cheap strictly limited deal between two consenting parties for xx services and xx payment.

The whole "marriage" business as enforced by the Communist corrupt courts is basically high priced prostitution/slavery ring designed to enslave men, for the most part these days where the guy "maybe" gets some sex for a bit and then has to pay with an unlimited amount of his cash & be a slave for who knows how long, enforced by the courts even if he stops getting the sex he thought he was getting & the other party goes starts enslaving another person.

Or like half the women on the dating scene, they expect the Man to spend a significant amount of money on their "entertainment" and "happiness" as well as "gifts" and other such stuff, then they might do sex with him till they find another deeper wallet..... Perfectly legal.

What is currently illegal is when one party is honest and fair up front and says ..."You want sex... normally you'd have to spend for flowers, dinner, movie, gifts etc... Just give me what that would cost up front instead and we'll do the sex & I'll then go spend the money on whatever I want".

Prostitution should be completely legal. In many countries around the world it is legal.

Where you have to regulate things is when it comes to others living off the proceeds of the prostitute, to avoid them being victimized by pimps and criminals, however when it is all legal and out in the open and prostitutes have the full protection of the law, it's a lot better for them, as they can ask for police assistance when things go wrong.

That being said, being involved in any of the sex or sexuality for money thing is one of those areas where some really enjoy it & have a decent time & get rich, many others find it to be yet another soul sucking nose to the grindstone pain in the ass job where the promises of quick money always seem to be just out of reach.

Legalize and tax???
Are they really going to collect taxes out of it tho?

Actually yes, it can make a fair bit of money for the state.

If you have Amazon Prime, try watching "The Mega Brothel" Documentary
It's of course slanted against prostitution as always, but it gives you a pretty good look at what legal industrialized prostitution would be like.

On a side note concerning taxing.
Why is anything the "overlords" want to make socially acceptable always under the guise of additional tax revenues?
I'm convinced no amount of monies will ever be enough.
A trojan horse of another color...

What is it with people thinking that in order to legalize something it must be taxed? F that! Just decriminalize it and keep big brother out of it completely.

Decriminalization does not mean legal. When something is decriminalized that just means a cop can decide to arrest or not, so that is always a dicey situation and gives no one protection.

The reason why taxes are associated with something like prostitution is to give the government a reason to make legal. What was/is a big driver for pot legalization? Tax dollars. It would be ideal for these things to be legal and keep the government out of it but let's be realistic, those days are long gone.

Why do so many have to add the "TAX IT" part? aren't we taxed enough? I'm talking about let them/us anyone that can make some money off their blood sweat and tears keep the fruits of their labor.
Taxation IS theft. no two ways bout it.

Exactly!

We should be free to do as we please. Not pay participation fees to the fuckin feds in order to enjoy our fucking freedom.

I think you have it backwards. Decriminalization means just that. Whatever is decriminalized is not a crime, period. A cop can't just decide he want's to make it illegal anyway.

However when a law is passed to make something legal it always comes with rules and restrictions. It is conditional permission from the government.

And the government proved it can't run a whore house when the IRS stole the Mustang Ranch and bankrupted it! Which is ironic beings as how the US Capitol is the worlds biggest whore house. And it's bankrupt too! Keep them out, they're boner killers.

You are right and I stand corrected, thanks so much.

Isn't regular dating the same thing, you take a girl out to dinner, buy flowers, jewelry, etc, etc in hopes that she sleeps with you? Noting that this process takes awhile usually several months or more where as in prostitution this process is sped up considerably.

Decriminalization of Marijuana in Ma meant that possessing of the evil weed was no longer a criminal offense (arrest or summons option).

It became a $100 civil violation payable to the town in which the citation was issued.

Towns started receiving these $100 checks and didnt know what to do with them.

Unlike the money the require me to send them they didnt cash them.

It was basically legalization.

Same with weed and most everything else: I don't want it "legalized" and I damn sure don't want it taxed. I want the laws making it illegal and taken off the books entirely, deregulation style. I want the same for our firearms, why it's a thing to campaign for the abolishment of taxes on Kotex but not on Colt is beyond me. One is a human right, the other is also a human right but is written into the Bill of Rights, and should not have taxation on exercising a Constitutional right.

Let the whores do their whoring in the open rather than baby trapping some poor bastard, it's always cheaper to rent than to buy and sell at a major cost anyhow.

The municipalities don't cash pot fines? Why?

I think it would be a wise choice to just buy the doll, pay the sales tax and move on.
Unless of course you have good insurance and they offer the live in nurse thing.
Don't be like that fake lumbersexual and call her a freind.

Sounds like they didn't really decriminalize it. They just changed the law.

No there is a difference.

There are "criminal acts" and "civil violations".

One is a crime and the other is contrary to the good civil order.

They changed possession of pot from being a "crime" to being something the civil authority frowns upon.

Basically it became a speeding ticket.

It's still defined by a law. That's not decriminalized. What happens when you don't pay your ticket?
