Looking at a Bartlein 5r 8tw 6mm barrel to do a 6 creedmoor. What bullet weight would that work with. Will probably do a berger 105g hybrid. Would that twist rate work.

8tw will work just fine with 105 Hybrids, 108 ELDs, and maybe even a few of the less-pointy 110s.
Should definitely do the 105. Bartlein also makes 7 and 7.5 twist, if you think you’re gonna shoot the Sierra 110. I’d do 7.5 to cover everything.
They also do a 7.7 twist, which is what I have run the last few years.

Your 105 hybrid, is marginally stabilized with an 8 tw ( by the #'s )
You have nothing to loose by going to a slightly faster twist.
I've had 3 barrels in a 7.5 tw and never had any problems running 107's and 110's smk's.

I did a 8tw 3 groove for my 6 Creed and it shoots the 107’s and 108’s into tiny holes very fast.
Pretty much this. 1:8 handles the 115 DTACS too.
I saw where Hornady recommended 1/7.5 for the 108eld's. I'll be ordering a barrel soon and I'm wanting to go 24" I'll be shooting the 108's what am I to loose by going 1/7.5 vs 1/8?
